Red wine it seems is a rich
source of antioxidants – a natural antioxidant booster if
ever you find any. So no matter how much you eat, as long as
you consume enough red wine with it, you should be okay.
You’re probably already
familiar with antioxidant
foods. If not your doctor, then you’ve probably heard
about them more than once from your mom. “Eat your
veggies. An apple a day…” Sound familiar?
Just recently, the U.S.
Department of Agriculture has come up with its top
antioxidant food list. In this antioxidant
food list, nutrient scientists rated the “total
antioxidant capacity” of individual foods.

diseases, even aging. From preventing heart disease to
slowing down degenerative
diseases, to stopping cancer, to reducing blood pressure
– you name it and everything points right back to
antioxidants.

antioxidant powerhouse candidate.
Sweet news to honey lovers.
Two new studies by researchers of the University of Illinois
show the dietary antioxidant benefits of honey. One of the
studies shows that part of the dietary antioxidant qualities
of honey has preservative properties that work on meat
without compromising the taste.

healthy molecules and causing a chain reaction.
Liquid antioxidant ORAC are
concentrated heavily in foods with a lot of color. That is
why grapefruits, berries, and citrus fruits are among the
top-ranked food sources of antioxidants.
Of the list of antioxidant
foods recently released by the USDA, small red beans and
wild blueberries
are among the top. The list of antioxidant foods
contains the many fruits and vegetables which have the
highest concentrations of disease-fighting antioxidant
compounds.
According to studies, there
are many types of antioxidants, each of them varying in
potency and each of them acting differently from the other.
Some may work to combat cancer. Others may help increase fat
metabolism.
For years now, man has been
dependent on nature for his source of nutrients essential
for his health. Plants are where we get most of our foods
and our medicines, relying on them almost entirely for
developing our bodies to their full potential and at the
same time reducing the causes of degenerative diseases.

perfumes to insect repellants, ingredients for a variety of
